Resistance Front: The True Victor of the 470-Day War
WANA (Jan 21) – Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, has declared that despite the crimes committed by the Israeli regime, the Resistance Front has emerged as the true victor of the prolonged 470-day conflict.
In a post on the social media platform X, Amani shared his perspective: “Following the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Israeli regime, a foreign ambassador stationed in Lebanon once claimed during a meeting with me that Israel had destroyed 80% of Hezbollah’s leadership, operational, and military capabilities. I responded by asking, ‘If this claim is accurate, why didn’t the Israeli regime extend the war a little longer to eliminate the remaining 20% and solidify its alleged victory?’ He had no answer.”
Amani further wrote: “The Israeli regime and [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu repeat similar claims in their psychological warfare against Hamas. However, the internal conditions of both sides clearly indicate that, despite all the crimes committed by this regime, the real victor of this 470-day war is the expansive Resistance Front.”
